Projects

We have worked alongside some of Australia’s leading builders across an array of projects from residential apartments to aged-care/ medical facilities and more. To date, we have conducted various works, with just some of these projects featured below.

RESIDE ON MONEY - GRIFFIN GROUP

Reside on Money is an exciting boutique apartment project by WA's leading developer, Griffin Group. As part of our scope, we’re installing an embedded electrical network providing clean and cost-effective energy. In addition, hot water will be produced via a central system, taking heat from ground water and electricity from a rooftop PV to achieve greater efficiencies using less energy and being fuelled mostly by clean energy.

PUMNU & PARNNGURR MEDICAL CENTRES, WA

Two extremely remote locations with some interesting design challenges. The roof design was complex and required some “out-of-the-box” thinking. Partnering with Sunman, GENiUX installed the first of its kind to Western Australia flexible light-weight solar panel.

PUNTUKURNU ABORIGINAL MEDICAL HUB, NEWMAN WA

An international award-winning development for its design and sustainability attributes, this is the largest remote community rooftop installation of its kind. The solar power system was designed to make this building energy self-sufficient for current and future needs. We are pleased to say we have met our goal.

BUTLER COMMERCIAL CENTER, BUTLER WA

GENiUX supplies the eight commercial tenants and common services both renewable and and mains grid energy via an embedded electrical network. We designed and installed the PV system and metering, managed all approvals and stakeholder communications.

LOFTHAUS APARTMENT, LEEDERVILLE WA

Lofthaus unveils an innovative living experience crafted by Griffin Group, nestled within a community powered by Geniux's advanced energy solutions. Within this development, Geniux oversees a (Tier 1) 25.6kW rooftop PV array, a 57.6kWh Central Battery System (BESS), and Smart Meters. The PV array generates clean electricity for daytime consumption, while surplus energy powers the Hot Water System. Excess energy is stored in the battery, ensuring continuous clean energy availability. Additionally, the hot water system, managed by GENiUX, utilizes efficient heat pumps and PV energy for optimal hot water provision, even in winter.

PARKVIEW APARTMENTS, COMO WA

Parkview on McDougall St presents a modern living concept by Griffin Group, powered by Geniux's innovative energy solutions. Featuring a proposed (Tier 1) 21.45kW rooftop PV array, a 45kWh Central Battery System (BESS), and Smart Meters, the Embedded Electrical Network ensures efficient energy usage. Surplus energy from the PV array is directed to the Hot Water System for heat storage, with excess stored in the battery for continuous power supply. Additionally, the Central DHW Plant, equipped with Stiebel Eltron Heat Pump and Hot Water Storage Tanks, optimizes hot water provision using efficient heat pumps and available PV energy. Smart Metering enables customers to monitor and manage their usage efficiently.

BENTLEY TECHNOLOGY PARK - THE HUB,
BENTLEY WA

Geniux is proud to partner with Development WA on their groundbreaking Net Zero building project. We've spearheaded the strategy for achieving Net Zero certification and installed the Customized Technical Infrastructure (CTI), featuring a 99.6kW PV array, smart metering, and a 360kWh lead carbon battery. Utilities Digital plays a crucial role in measuring utility use and emissions data, essential for effective ESG and Net Zero strategies.

COMMERCIAL RURAL PROPERTY,
SOUTHERN CROSS WA

BTM, part of Geniux Group, specializes in designing off-grid systems. With a focus on rural areas, BTM engineers craft efficient Alternative Primary Power Supply Systems (APPSS) like one recently installed in Southern Cross, WA. This stand-alone system ensures continuous electricity, even during grid outages, giving clients uninterrupted operations and control over energy costs.
