Michael Austin
CHAIR
Michael is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has extensive experience in leadership roles in various organisations and industries. Michael has operated on boards with strong governance protocols and procedures and has been involved in several restructuring operations that required changes to governance functionality in order to ensure the on-going viability of the entity.
Michael worked alongside KordaMentha in the receiver manager function on Forge Group in its receivership. For an extensive period of his career, he has operated with executive responsibility in the engineering and construction sectors both in Australia and internationally. His previous roles include; EGM/COO Forge, servicing the mining and mineral processing, oil and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals, and industrial processing industries. Before this Michael worked for UGL, WorleyParsons, Mowlem (Laing O’Rouke) and LawGibbs (Jacobs).
Michael has represented peak industry bodies in the transport sector and has served as Chairperson for the Transport division of ARIC for SME’s.
He has been on the public speaker circuit in Europe for Cross Industry procurement as Chairperson of the ERFTC working group (Rail Transportation Procurement study).
Michael is a co-founder of Empire Carbon and Energy, an integrated advisory and financial services business operating in the carbon trading, offset and renewable energy markets.

Mazlee is a Business Unit Head in Pitcher Partners Perth, specializing in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisition and Deal Advisory Services.

David is an innovative leader and proven business builder, with 27 years extensive experience across a diverse group of industries.
David identified the CTI opportunity whilst consulting in the Hotel and Resort industry and has spent the last 10 years developing on this experience. His last 5 years as seen him consolidate his expertise in the sustainability and CleanTech Infrastructure space to be recognised as a market leader.
David has a Bachelor of Business and post-graduate qualifications with CPA Australia, the Australian Institute of Banking & Finance and a Diploma in Hospitality Management.
