With the trend towards urbanisation of the world's population, the need to solve for sustainable and carbon-neutral transport, is one of the greatest challenges facing our cities. The following four major issues need to be tackled; 

• Growing traffic congestion 
• Limited land resource for parking 
• Increased noise pollution, and
• Increased carbon emissions

Considering the fact that majority of private vehicles are parked for 96% of their use-for-life, and typical trips are less than 10km by a single user for less than one hour, this form of transport is both inefficient and not sustainable.
